i've been considering doing that but i don't know how i could limit sound commands so they're not spammed. Maybe i need to change to a different bot.

@@ICACJyou could make the sound commands members only. It would be pretty easy to program a new bot that only listens to members commands

that's the problem. The current bot doesn't have just members permissions. It has all twitch roles but not YT members. I'm moving everything to a different bot that has members permissions. I'm already on it.

@@ICACJ I have severe agoraphobia and a stutter that's kept me largely isolated, friendless and jobless for over a decade but I always had my two childhood cats that basically served as unlicensed therapy animals to comfort me. They passed away a few years ago but I live with my parents and we have two dogs so it's the same unconditional love. Seeing you interact with your dog reminded me of how I interact with my pets. It's hard to be sad when your interacting with something that loves you so much. I would put on, and still do from time to time, the popular Hitman 2016 professional mode commentaries playlist and let it play and then when it was done, I'd replay it again because it was the only or one of the few things you did with commentary and video so seeing the streams just feels good. It feels like all is well. I know you have to live your life and do your own thing but I think it's important to mention that while most people tune into your stream because they genuinely like Hitman and like seeing your skills, if you look at the comments on that challenge series, a lot of people just enjoy your company and I'm certainly grateful for it. On a lighter note, your channel introduced me to the cat dj meme which I can't watch without a big smile so thanks for that too. Take it easy, CJ.

If it makes you feel any better, I lost 2 in Miami due to spawning next to a lookout. The same guy got me twice. Now when I spawn at the boat dock I actively look for him and wait for him to leave before getting up. I can't say I've had that problem in Berlin ever. Where did you spawn? The motivation for me is to learn from the mishaps to try to not let them happen again. 2 streams before this I failed 3 consecutive campaigns. I took a break, came back the next day, and completed 2 consecutively. I've also gotten over needing everything to be in my favor all the time and just take my L's whenever they come and just try again. That is the rogue like element to the mode.

I spawned at the club entrance, i think there was a way around it but I'm not 100% certain. I know Berlin can be a good map for Showdowns so I went with that. I don't mind dying or failing it's just a mood kill when I fail over rng like that it's unfun.

Every time I spawn at club entrance I turn around and go through the shortcut around the right side that goes behind the entrance past the coat check. Sometimes there is one outside but it's only one. There are a few lookouts on the stairs down to the club, but I can't say I've ever experienced what you did in over 100 campaigns and Berlin as a frequent showdown map. So idk what to tell you although I understand your frustration. I usually limit final showdowns to more open maps like Miami, Paris, and Haven. I will never take a final showdown on Whittleton, Chongqing, or Dartmoor mainly because of the cramped lookout situations. If you uninstalled maybe take a breather and come back to it when you're ready. I hope you give it another chance. It really is a great addition to the game and has revitalized playing for me. I just had to accept that stuff beyond my control can happen and that is part of the experience. And each one is an opportunity to be learned from. Maybe you can take Berlin as an earlier showdown to get used to it. Less lookouts, less suspects. And maybe avoid it as a closer until you're really comfortable with it. That's all I got. Hope you come back.

I reinstalled about an hour ago,I've calmed down. I enjoy Freelancer I think it's amazing even with it flaws. I just wish we could pick a spawn or smuggle stuff into levels. Might have to try Haven on an early showdown,I haven't tried it before.

@@doctorheafhuhglad to hear you’ve reinstalled. If it helps, New York can be an excellent place for a Showdown, mainly because the Bodyguard’s outfit is immune to Lookouts. I wouldn’t recommend it for the final showdown, because isolating suspects on the top floor can be a pain, but as long as you avoid Frank (Curley haired security guard who’s just won the lottery) and Mateo Perez (chubby guy in a pale sports coat), you’ll be fine. Plus you can raid the vault for extra cash. If you’re like me, and abuse the “fart bomb in a bag” trick, Dubai can be quite good too, as there are so many bathrooms. Just be careful in the later Showdowns, because the spawn near the Art installation can be infested with Lookouts, but they’re easily avoided if you’re patient.

A lot of studios are doing remakes these days. I keep hoping for a remake of some sort from IO as well. Although my hope is for a remake of all iconic missions in the older games. Maybe similar to how Contracts was to Codename. We'll see. I don't think they will abandon the IP, even when the Bond game comes out.
